Thyroid Cancer Alliance

Thyroid Cancer Alliance (TCA) at the World Congress of Thyroid Cancer.

Helen Hobrough, Chair of our Support Group, attended the World Congress on Thyroid Cancer as a Director of the Thyroid Cancer Alliance (TCA). The Congress was held in Toronto between the 9th and 14th July. There were over 1,000 delegates attending from over 61 countries. It provided an excellent opportunity for our Support Group (TCSGW) to showcase our work on the world stage! In particular, the iNATT project which is a world 1st.
We are indebted to the Genzyme Corporation and the Bayer Corporation for their generous funding of the travel to this conference and without whose help would have made attendance very difficult.
The group's funding of the NATT project was publicised at the meeting and in the TCA Newsletter which was distributed at the Congress.  It can be accessed at www.thyroidcanceralliance.org

The sale of our recipes books to raise funds for this project was also featured.
