Spreading of bark on the gardens on Saturday 9th June. The bark was kindly donated by Dave O'Brien Tree Services (Tel. 07855781182) again this year. Many thanks to Dave for his kind support for the garden project.

We are greateful for the help we received from a team of eight people from Lloyds TSB who came along to help with spreading the bark on the gardens. Thanks Team!

The fourth Summer party was held at the Seashore Grill and Function room in Sully. This proved to be another success with everyone enjoying themselves and helping to raise funds for the Group's work.
A total of £814 was raised by this event. A super contribution to the funds

Thanks to Helen Hobrough for her hard work in organising this event again this year.

Thanks also to Gordon and his staff from the Seashore Grill for providing a superb buffet! Bob Sax provided the entertainment.

Despite the fact that the appalling weather conditions resulted in the Sponsored Walk being "rained off" on Sunday 23rd September, many supporters decided to complete the walk later that month and a sum of £371 has been raised. Thanks to all who took part!

A "Horse Race" was held at the West End Labour Club in Barry to raise funds to support our iNATT project(National Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer Tissue Bank).
The evening was an outstanding success raising £457 and a further £20 was donated towards our goal. Thanks to Jeff Heathfield,assisted by Jimmy and Karl for all their hard work in ensuring a great time was had by all.

On three days this month we were provided with an opportunity toset up a stall in the Main Outpatients dept at Velindre where we were able to sell our recipe books 'Food of the famous and not so famous' to raise funds for the iNATT project
