The 35th British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons Scientific Meeting was held on the 8th and 9th of October 2015 at the Phyllis Court Club , Henley on Thames.

TCSGW were very fortunate to be invited to be present at this event and to share a stand with Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust. There was a great deal of interest shown in our work and our support for patients and their families at a challenging time following a thyroid cancer diagnosis.

As always, this event was very well supported with a wide variety of eminent speakers from the UK and across the world, it was an outstanding success.

Dr Moss presented a most interesting address on Understanding Poorly Differentiated and Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer and again it was with enormous pride that the work of TCSGW was acknowledged and thanked for their support of this project.

This was the final event for Mr David Scott Coombes to preside over as President of BAETS - handing over this role to Mr Mark Lansdown.

It is always a fantastic opportunity to share the work of our group at such events and a privilege to be invited by the Organising Secretariat of BAETS.
